On Elba Island, a new chapter of 50 Years of Creation is taking shape: Andrea Roggi’s solo exhibition celebrating five decades of artistic research, material experimentation and creative practice.
Following its international debut in Paris, the project arrives at the Napoleonic Villas with a multi-venue exhibition spanning Palazzina dei Mulini, Villa di San Martino and Portoferraio Pier.
Through preparatory drawings, paintings, sculptures and recent experimental works, the exhibition traces the evolution of the artist’s creative language, from his earliest explorations to the most advanced developments of his practice.
The Elba chapter also marks the unveiling of a new sculpture, affirming both the continuity of Andrea Roggi’s artistic research and its future direction.
Throughout the summer, the exhibition will establish a dialogue between contemporary art, history, memory and the Mediterranean landscape of Elba.
