Guided tour of the Villa Romana delle Grotte, one of the most significant archaeological sites in the Tuscan Archipelago; the archaeological complex stands on a promontory overlooking the Gulf of Portoferraio, commanding the stretch of sea between the coast of Piombino and the town’s harbour. Long referred to as a “Villa”, it may, in light of the latest excavations, change its identity: we will explore this topic with the Park Guide during the tour. At the end, a light aperitif against the backdrop of the majestic panorama. In collaboration with the Villa Romana delle Grotte Foundation.
