Etruscan clay bronzes
Group of artefacts found near the hill of Santa Lucia with bronze objects, including spindles, some bracelets, a thimble and fourteen brooches (in the shape of leeches, ships and dragons).
This collection of objects dates from the end of the 8th and the middle of the 7th century B.C., in the middle of the Orientalising period, but it is possible that some of these artefacts, in particular the clay spindle whorls, may belong to more ancient funeral rituals, making them one of the earliest archaeological finds on the island.
