The naturalists’ room

In the first room of the museum we find the six most important naturalists in history. Each of them is holding a phrase, a short passage or an anecdote, which distinguishes their studies and work. Here we find Ulisse Aldrovandi (1522-1655), Georges Louis Leclerc comte du Buffon (1707 - 1788), Carl Von Linné (1707 - 1778), Jean Baptiste de Lamark (1744 - 1829), Georges Cuvier (1769 - 1832), Charles Darwin (1809 - 1882)
