Guided tour including return travel from Elba Island and Park Guide service. Discover the true soul of the island accompanied by a Park Guide: an experience in touch with the island’s authentic essence. Once disembarked at Giglio Porto, transfer by taxi to Giglio Castello, situated 400 metres above sea level. Carved into the granite and completely surrounded by defensive walls, it is one of the most evocative and authentic medieval villages in the Mediterranean. After the tour of the village, the return to Giglio Porto follows the ancient mule track that once linked the two settlements: a walk of about 1 hour along an easy, scenic path, with long stretches in the shade. After the tour, there will be free time before boarding. Alternatively, the return to Giglio Porto can be made using public transport, taxis or regular buses at the participants’ own expense, to be paid for on site.
